Ramayana advance booking has moved again today, 4 November 2026, and this time the India total itself is closing in on Rs 100 crore. Trade tracker Sacnilk‘s morning update puts total India pre-sales at Rs 97.64 crore across six show dates, with Rs 77.71 crore after excluding blocked seats. The film opens in cinemas worldwide tomorrow, 5 November 2026, so these are pre-release ticket sales, not box office earnings yet.

Yesterday’s story was a single-chain record at PVR INOX. Today’s Ramayana advance booking update is bigger and broader: it covers the whole Indian market, more than 25 lakh tickets, and over 83,000 shows, with the worldwide opening-weekend total already past Rs 100 crore gross. Here are the five updates that matter most, with the figures explained exactly as the tracker reports them.
1. Ramayana advance booking in India: Rs 97.64 crore and counting
Sacnilk’s update at 10:00 am IST on 4 November 2026 gives the headline India figure as Rs 97.64 crore gross, or Rs 77.71 crore without blocked seats, from 25.88 lakh tickets (20.68 lakh without blocks) across 83,736 shows and six show dates. That is the number to quote today, because it is the latest snapshot, and it is already higher than the Rs 93.59 crore figure reported earlier the same morning by 7Globe from an earlier Sacnilk update.
The gap between the two totals is not a contradiction. It is how advance booking works: gross figures include seats blocked by exhibitors, while the without-block-seats figure counts only tickets actually sold. Both numbers are rising through the day as more shows are booked, so any figure quoted today should carry its time stamp. The honest headline is that Ramayana advance booking in India is now within touching distance of Rs 100 crore gross, and has already passed Rs 77 crore in confirmed ticket sales.
2. Day 1 leads the way at Rs 39.42 crore
Thursday, 5 November, the opening day, remains the engine of the whole advance. Sacnilk puts Day 1 India pre-sales at Rs 39.42 crore gross, or Rs 33.40 crore without blocked seats, from 10.15 lakh tickets across 23,711 shows, at about 19 percent occupancy before release. No other day comes close, which is normal for a big opening, but the scale is not normal: a single day’s advance, before a single public show, is already larger than the lifetime collection of many Hindi releases.
That Day 1 strength is also why trade watchers are now talking about a very large opening day. Bollywood Hungama’s trade prediction, published on 4 November, puts the Hindi opening at Rs 60-70 crore and the all-languages India opening at around Rs 100 crore, with one trade veteran quoted as expecting Rs 100 crore-plus for Day 1 in India alone. Those are predictions, not results, and they depend on walk-in audiences and word of mouth after the first shows. They are worth reporting because they show how far expectations have moved in 24 hours, not because they are guaranteed.
3. Worldwide Ramayana advance booking has already crossed Rs 100 crore
Here the distinction matters, and it is easy to get wrong. The Rs 100 crore worldwide figure is for the opening weekend, not for India alone, and it was first reported by Sacnilk on 2 November. It combines the India gross for the first three days, put at more than Rs 58 crore gross, with overseas pre-sales of more than Rs 40 crore gross. Films Discourse, cited in today’s reports, puts overseas advance bookings at USD 5.65 million across all show dates.
So there are two different Rs 100 crore milestones in play today. Worldwide opening-weekend advance bookings crossed Rs 100 crore gross on 2 November. India-only advance bookings, across all six show dates on sale, reached Rs 97.64 crore gross by 10:00 am IST on 4 November and are still climbing towards their own Rs 100 crore mark. Reporting both figures, with those labels attached, is the only way to keep the story accurate.
4. Paid previews today, 4 November, are the first real test
Before the Indian opening on 5 November, Ramayana has paid previews in the United States today, 4 November. Trade reports put those previews at more than 51,000 tickets sold, with over USD 1.20 million in advance sales for the previews alone, and total United States pre-sales through the weekend at around USD 3 million. North America is the biggest overseas contributor, ahead of the United Kingdom and Australia.
That makes today a genuine test, not just a countdown. The United States previews will be the first paying audiences to see the finished film, and their reaction will travel back to India overnight, just as Indian advance booking enters its final hours. If the previews land well, the last-day rush in India could push the India total past Rs 100 crore gross before the first Indian show. If they do not, the advance still stands as a record, but the opening-day prediction will face its first real check.
5. What releases tomorrow: cast, formats and the Godzilla shift
Ramayana: Part 1, subtitled Rise of a Legend, is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios with DNEG and Monster Mind Creations. Ranbir Kapoor plays Rama, Sai Pallavi plays Sita, Yash plays Ravana, Sunny Deol plays Hanuman and Ravi Dubey plays Lakshman. The score is by Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman, and the film has been shot for IMAX.
The film opens worldwide in cinemas on 5 November 2026, in standard and IMAX formats, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, with an English-language version for overseas markets. Trade listings give the Hindi version a runtime of 3 hours and 15 minutes with songs and an intermission, and the English version 2 hours and 45 minutes, rated PG-13. No OTT date or platform has been announced, so this remains a cinema-only release for now.
One rival has already moved out of the way. Godzilla Minus Zero has postponed its Indian theatrical release from 6 November to 20 November 2026 to avoid a direct clash with Ramayana, while still opening in Japan on 3 November and in North America on 6 November. That decision, reported today, is itself a measure of how much room Ramayana advance booking is taking up in the release calendar.
