Super Troopers 3 Hulu streaming starts on 5 November 2026, and for fans of the Broken Lizard crew, this is the easiest way yet to catch up with Vermont’s most chaotic highway patrol. The Searchlight Pictures comedy sequel first opened in US theatres on 7 August 2026, reached premium video on demand on 22 September 2026, and now lands on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the United States, with Disney+ carrying it internationally on the same date. If you missed it on the big screen, the wait is finally over.

Super Troopers 3 Hulu release date and where to watch
Super Troopers 3 Hulu arrives on Thursday, 5 November 2026. In the United States it streams exclusively on Hulu and on Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers, while viewers elsewhere get it on Disney+ from the same day. The first two films, Super Troopers (2001) and Super Troopers 2 (2018), are also streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+, so the whole trilogy sits in one place once the new film lands. No other streaming platform has been announced for this date, so Hulu is the place to look first.
A wedding, a break-up plan and a drug ring
The story of Super Troopers 3 Hulu starts at home, not on the highway. Farva, played by Kevin Heffernan, is wildly over the top about his engagement to Thorny’s sister, and the celebration quickly spirals into chaos. Thorny, played by director Jay Chandrasekhar, is not exactly thrilled, and his schemes to break up the relationship run right through the film. While the wedding drama builds, the troopers also have a real case to crack: a pernicious new drug ring that needs stopping. Saving the day and maybe saving the wedding itself become the same messy mission, which is exactly the kind of collision between personal chaos and police work that has always defined this series.
The whole Broken Lizard crew is back
Super Troopers 3 Hulu reunites the five Broken Lizard members in the roles they first brought to life 25 years ago. Jay Chandrasekhar directs and stars as Thorny, Kevin Heffernan returns as Farva, Steve Lemme is back as Mac, Paul Soter returns as Foster, and Erik Stolhanske is Rabbit again. Brian Cox returns as Captain O’Hagan, and Marisa Coughlan is back too, alongside Lynda Carter. The film was written by Broken Lizard and produced by Rich Perello, keeping the sequel firmly in the hands of the people who created the original.
New faces join the patrol
Alongside the returning favourites, Super Troopers 3 Hulu adds a fresh set of comic pairings. Hannah Simone plays Thorny’s sister Sarita, the woman at the centre of the wedding chaos. Nat Faxon, Chace Crawford, Andrew Dismukes, Jon Rudnitsky, Lisa Gilroy, Sakina Jaffrey and Iqbal Theba also join the cast, with Will Sasso voicing an electric car in one of the film’s sillier touches. That mix of old hands and new energy is a big part of why the sequel works as both a reunion and a standalone comedy night in.
Why this sequel took so long, and why it still lands
Twenty-five years after the first film, the joke has never really been about clever police work. It has always been about five friends in uniform who take everything too far and somehow stumble into doing their jobs. Super Troopers 3 Hulu leans into that spirit: the pranks are bigger, the wedding is louder, and the drug case gives the chaos a shape. Fans who grew up quoting the original will recognise the rhythm immediately, while new viewers get a self-contained story about a wedding that refuses to go to plan. You do not need a detailed memory of the earlier films to enjoy it, though watching the first two beforehand will make the returning jokes land even harder.
7 hilarious reasons to stream it this week
First, Farva’s engagement alone is worth the watch, because no celebration involving Farva ever stays calm for long. Second, Thorny’s attempts to sabotage his own sister’s wedding give the film its funniest running gag. Third, the full Broken Lizard line-up back together is a rare comedy reunion done properly. Fourth, Brian Cox as Captain O’Hagan remains the perfect straight face against all the madness.
Fifth, the drug-ring case keeps the plot moving when the wedding chaos threatens to take over completely. Sixth, the new cast members, especially Hannah Simone as Sarita, give the old crew fresh targets for their jokes. Seventh, and most simply, Super Troopers 3 Hulu is a short, silly, feel-good watch at a time of year when a light comedy night is exactly what most viewers want.
What to watch before 5 November
If you have time for a warm-up, watch Super Troopers and Super Troopers 2 on Hulu first. The original sets up the patrol, the pranks and the friendship, while the second film shows the crew returning after a long gap. Then Super Troopers 3 Hulu will feel like the third chapter of one long joke rather than a cold start. If you would rather jump straight in, the new film still explains its own story clearly: a wedding, a brother who objects, and a case that will not wait.
